We recently hosted a cutting-edge cadaver lab in #Sharjah, #UAE, spotlighting the IPOM+ laparoscopic ventral hernia repair technique—a method that promises to revolutionize hernia surgery. This event, co-led by renowned instructors Dr. Ibrahim Albabtain from #KSA and Dr. Juan Bellido from #Spain, combined expert-led discussions with hands-on practice.

For the participating surgeons from KSA and UAE, this lab was more than just a learning experience, it was an opportunity to:

- Hone and elevate their real-time surgical skills

- Gain invaluable first-hand experience with the IPOM+ technique in a cadaver lab setting.

This lab marked the second phase of an ongoing certification program. With phase one covering theoretical sessions, other practical phases to follow for final certification.
