Med Surg Solutions welcomed a select group of medical professionals to an exclusive, three-day Lipogems Orthopedic VIP Tour, spanning the innovation hubs of Milan and Bologna. The immersive tour offered a rare opportunity for participants to witness cutting-edge applications of the Lipogems system, guided by some of Italy’s most prominent orthopedic leaders.

The tour commenced in Milan, where attendees were welcomed with an intimate dinner hosted by Dr. Berardo di Matteo, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Humanitas Clinical Institute. The following day began with a visit to the Galeazzi Hospital and RE.GA.IN® Lab, where Dr. Laura de Girolamo, Director of the Orthopaedic Biotechnology Laboratory, led an insightful session on the Lipogems mechanism of action and the science behind its regenerative potential.

A high-speed train journey brought the group to Bologna, where the evening continued with a dinner hosted by Dr. Alessandro Russo, Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery at Rizzoli Hospital. On the final day, participants observed Lipogems procedures at Clinica Toniolo, led by Dr. Russo, capping off the experience with a live demonstration of the product’s impact in orthopedic surgery.
