Dubai, UAE – May 2025 — As part of its commitment to bridging international innovation with regional excellence, Med Surg Solutions (MSS) hosted the Leading the Way in Orthopedic Care Workshop on May 2–3, 2025, at Al Bandar Rotana, Dubai. The two-day scientific event brought together some of the world’s foremost voices in orthopedic surgery, regenerative medicine, and orthobiologics to share cutting-edge insights and collaborate with clinicians from across the GCC.
With speakers and experts representing institutions in Italy, Germany, the USA, Poland, and Saudi Arabia, the workshop highlighted emerging techniques and clinical evidence for treating orthopedic conditions using minimally invasive, biologically advanced therapies—especially adipose-derived solutions.
“This wasn’t just a conference—it was a platform to transfer real-world experience, accelerate innovation, and elevate patient outcomes,” said Ms. Nour Halabi, Product Manager at MSS. “As MSS, our mission is to serve as the regional bridge between global medical advancements and the evolving healthcare systems across the Middle East and GCC.”
International Faculty. Regional Dialogue.
The workshop featured a highly curated program with contributions from global experts including:
● Dr. Laura De Girolamo – Galeazzi Institute, Milan
● Dr. Konrad Slynarski – LEKMED, Poland
● Dr. Brian Chilelli – Cincinnati Sports Medicine, USA
● Dr. Justus Gille – Head of Trauma, Germany
● Dr. Ahmad Aljarri – Security Forces Hospital, KSA
● Dr. Mazen Tayeb – Security Forces Hospital, Makkah
Topics ranged from the science behind microfragmented adipose tissue (MicroFat) to real-world surgical outcomes using Lipogems technology, which continues to gain traction for its role in orthobiologics and regeneration.
From Innovation to Impact
Day 1 included expert-led sessions on regenerative medicine, minimally invasive joint preservation, and biologic integration into orthopedic protocols. The day concluded with a networking dinner at Gusto Restaurant overlooking Dubai Creek, fostering cross-border collaboration among clinicians and industry leaders.
Day 2 focused on case-based discussions, regional clinical experience, and practical guidance on patient selection, injection technique, rehabilitation, and cost implementation. Sessions also spotlighted cartilage repair advancements such as AMIC® with Chondro-Gide®, the Exofin skin closure system, and a live demo of VIMS Ultra HD surgical camera technology.
Knowledge That Moves the Region Forward
Beyond the science, the event affirmed MSS’s strategic role as a regional accelerator for global healthcare transformation. By facilitating these critical conversations and bringing innovation directly to the region’s decision-makers, MSS continues to reshape the narrative of surgical care in the Middle East.
“Orthopedic care is evolving. This workshop reminded us that the future isn’t just about new tools, it’s about new ways of thinking, treating, and healing,” said one attending surgeon from Riyadh.
